New Packing Declaration templates

Please be advised that effective August 1st 2021 the Department of Agriculture Water and the Environment (DAWE) has advised that the new packing declarations are required to be completed by your suppliers for all sea freight imports to Australia.
For single declaration this new template is the only one that can be used and accepted by DAWE, for annual declarations the current format will remain acceptable until they expire, after which any new annual declarations will be required to be completed on the new annual declaration template.
Packing declarations are an important document which is required for sea freight imports Australia, they are used to assist with the identification of compliant wood packaging being used.
The single and annual declarations can be found here, please ensure to share them with your overseas suppliers where appropriate.
